128 notifications, 128 error pop ups

I've been having an issue with the client the past few days. If I let it idle for too long, any invites or notifications I get will result in an error message popping up. So if I've gotten 14 invites to games while the client was idled, I'll have to click "ok" on 14 different error pop ups. I just now left it idle for an hour or so... 128 notifications means I have 128 error pop ups. I'm going to have to force close the application and hope it doesn't corrupt itself (had to run repair tool already once today due to black log in screen) because there's no way I'm going to click through 128 pop ups.

Here is what the error message says:

"Error

There was an error processing a message from the server; this may be caused by a number of issues so it is recommended you restart your client. If it continues to occur please visit support.leagueoflegends.com with a description of the error and what you were doing at the time."

Also, it'd be nice if I could select, copy and paste the text in these error pop ups instead of having to type it all out.
