Dramatic Frame Rate Drop With Each Thresh Soul

I don't usually have problems with frame rate, but in every game when I am playing thresh there is a serious frame rate drop involved with his passive even on the lowest possible settings. Every time a soul is generated my frame rate drops to an almost unplayable level and gets worse when there are more souls nearby. It's so bad that I cannot play Thresh because of it. This is incredibly frustrating, please help
