WARWICK + LUDENS ECHO = GLITCH? OR INTENTIONAL?

When i was using warwick, i was playing him ap. And i noticed a glitch with ludens echo, whenever i casted his q, it would activate the ludens echo but the heal from his q wouldn't be gained. not sure if its intentional or a glitch
