Nocturne's Spell Shield (W), Sivir's Spell Shield (E) bugged against empowered Basic attacks

Hello fellow summoners, I am here to inform about the spell shields on champions such as Sivir and Nocturne as they cannot blocked empowered Basic attacks anymore however Banshee's viel is able to yet the champions spell shields are supposed to be similar or exactly the same with extra effects. Such as Nasus Q and Rengar Q, I remember in Season 3 or 4, Champions with spellshields were able to block these. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a new update however, Im sure you guys can agree with this. I was able to block Udyr's Bears stance with a spellshield which is an empowered attack so I hope you read this and agree with this post but just ignore if im wrong .

I believe they are supposed to do the following effect. Spell shields block all activation of spells (Starts of channels included). They do not block DoTs during the effect. They do not break targeted channeled effects (Fiddle's drain as an example) They do block spells of any type as long as it's a targeted single-hit spell (Magical, Physical and On-Hit effects) (For Requiem, the shield can be cast to block the damage part post-channel) They do block ONE tick out of series of persistent damage abilities. (Panth's HSS, Kennens Maelstrom.)
