Unable to purchase Redemption in game

This happened in a ranked game just now, it was game 1 of my promo. I was unable to upgrade my components into Redemption this game as support. This had a big impact on the game as I spent a lot of gold but got only the base stats. I also spent a good 1 min+ trying to buy Redemption.

I tried selling the components but could still not purchase it. I tried leaving the shop area and re-entering. For the rest of the game I could not buy redemption at all. The weirdest part is that I don't even know what caused this bug. Maybe related to Ornn?

We lost the game. My impact on the game would have been much larger had I been able to complete the first item I was trying to buy.
