Remake did not work

Today I played a ranked game in which the toplaner of my team was afk for the whole game. He did not even connect to the game, just spawned in the middle of the fountain and stayed there. So I tried to remake after 3 minutes ( no first blood yet ) for several times but it kept telling me that I could not remake a game unless one or more player(s) are disconnected. After the game his name appeared red, so the system knew that he was afk. However we still lost LP for it.
