[GAMEPLAY] Warwick ult applies damage ticks after channel being cancelled..?
(recorded off a BaronReplays spectator mode replay)
Warwick ults a tasty Tristana. Thresh throws a pre-emptive hook at the Tristana, expecting the Warwick ult. Warwick lunges to Tristana, and applies the suppression. Before any damage is issued, Warwick is stunned/knockbacked by the hook. The suppression is removed from Tristana and she can retreat. HOWEVER: She still takes 5 ticks of damage? I can't see what else she'd be taking those chunks from.
I feel like this behaviour isn't intended - CCing a champ who's channeling a damage ability should stop the damage, right? Is this a bug? (maybe caused by applying CC before damage ticks start..?)
I've made no attempt to repro. I'm not certain if this is a game bug or just undocumented behaviour. I'm also not certain if I've misread the teamfight and there's an explanation for the damage chunks, or maybe spectator mode delays the appearance of the damage ticks.
