Why Did I Demote When I Only Lost 1 Game at 0 LP?

I thought you were protected from demoting when you only have three losses at 0 lp. I won one game before I demoted, then the game after that I lost then demoted. I only lost one game at zero lp then demoted, is there something wrong or am I just not getting it right? I wasn't on a losing streak either. :( I still hate this game on the way it works but I can't quit because its addicting!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have like 2-3 games protection just after u progress a division from being demoted at 0 lp. but if u win some then loss some ur protection is gone, even if u only play like 1 or 2 games. U can demote from one loss if your mmr is considerably lower from where u actually are. so if ur like plat 2 but have a plat 4 or g1 mmr, ur gonna demote immidiately
