Files Scanning again.....

p.s. my files won't even start scanning. Your client messes up nearly every week. No other professional company has as many issues as you do.

If you wanna fix it, heres what you do, It takes a long ass time, but its less time than re-installing and it's better than being forced to quit. Open your File Manager, go to your C Drive. Then, click on the 'Riot Games' Folder. Then click on League Of Legends, then RADS. After that, click on the 'lol_game_client' folder. Then, delete the file titled 'filearchives'. Then, open up your client again, and commence the re-patch! Hope this helps you guys :)

95,000 files scanned and 3 days later, it is still scanning....

I reinstalled and still have the same issue! - LOL stuck at 33% calculating differences. This game is buggy as hell. Does Dota 2 have these same issues?

• my client crashed in the middle of a new rank game because of the scanning im hoping someone would look at this and not count that game cause i played a game before and all my files were scanned and there was nothing wrong with them but once my second game started it crashed because it said there were corrupted files so yeah

Mine too wtf. The client kicked me and my friend out of a ranked game to update and I lost 15lp because of this bullshit.

So I tried one of the fixes here, and I then proceeded to see if it worked. IT DID!! or not... My launcher stopped scanning files after about 10 but then proceeded to download 3 Gigs of data. This was a minor patch. I was in curse call with my friend and he was able to get the patch in less than 3 minutes where as I took 5 to get through the first stage(up to 33%). My Laptop is much newer than his and I have a much stronger hardware/Internet connection, so it really makes no sense to me why this is happening. It just doesn't make sense why Riot, a REAL company, that makes REAL money, that has REAL employees, that get paid REAL money, can't make a REAL game. REAL games work for the consumer, which by the look of this discussion obviously isn't true about League of Legends. Please give us a fix that works, that wont require more than basic knowledge of computers to fix. I work in IT and I figured out how to get rid of old unnecessary files well before I went digging on this thread, but that isn't a fix that people with minimal knowledge should have to use to enjoy a "free to play" game that they have probably spent way too much time and money on. Please just fix it so this wont be a problem in the future, because its been more than a year since you've know about it.

What ever you do,don´t do it like me.

Files scanning 33% around 1000 files.Closed it and reopened it,clicked ? then repair.Waited a little bit.Over 2000 files and at 0%.

Went to system restore,restored it to 12.2 from 13.2.Then LoL wouldn´t even open. Tryed to restore it again to 11.2. Guess what?It still didn´t work and LoL won´t even open. :(((

rito... how did I just go from playing the new game mode to re patching a patch I downloaded forever ago... seriously confused.

I wouldn't mind, but it's a day after the transitional patch. They could at least wait until after the week-end -.-

patch 5.13 step 1 is done but got 2000 files scanned or step 2 and still runing anyone can help ?

i wait at least 3 hours for league to load then 99% im like finally and then 0 files scanned i wait overnight 99% still fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sucks, I waited like an hour and a half for the patch to get to 12,419 files scanned, and then it came up with an error that says "Unspecified error occurred. Please check the logs for more information." So I pressed retry an It started me back at 0 files scanned. Then after 300 files it had the same error message, so I tried it again. same thing, 4 times in a row. Wait sorry make that 5 it just did it again. Any Idea on how to fix this? I tried repairing it and doing X2Chimes Idea but that didn't work either. Please help me fix this. 6 times now.
