20 mins of lag then a game crash for all

Literally just came out of a ranked game, all 10 players had terrible lag, minions were bugging and running in random places and towers targeting was all messed up. Yet none of us appeared to have fps or ping issues. After about 20 mins everyone disconnects and the game ends. Nobody can reconnect and its like the game never existed. no match history and nobody in game.

Right now I am "attempting to reconnect" to a match that no longer exists because I am also able to queue for another game. I added all the players to see if they have the same issues and they did. The most frustrating part of this is that we were very favoured to win so I feel cheated out of both my time and LP. Nobody other than myself and the people in that match appear to have had any problems after checking streams and with friends etc.

Is there an explaination to this? has anyone else had this issue before and/or recently?
