Aatrox possible bug

Hello everyone, i'm not sure if this is a bug but it seems to be a bit broken i'll explain.

Aatrox's q lets him fly up into the air and crash down on his opponent, he can even jump over some walls. But for some reason the hitbox seems to be a bit weird for instance; if Jinx lays down her mines Aatrox cannot jump over it without being rooted (he will jump over them but the hitbox registers that he has walked over them) This also occurs if aatrox trys to jump over thresh's ultimate walls, he will jump over them but take all the damage.

Now i'm not sure if this is what you guys and girls at riot were aiming for but it doesn't seem right, especially for how weak Aatrox is.
