Banshee's Veil fail??

Hey all,

I was playing a game a few moments ago where I had a banshee's veil and it didn't block the movespeed part of lucian's w/ardent blaze and I was wondering if that is a bug or working as intended??

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are talking about. Can you clarify the situation and what behavior you think is buggy?

If you're talking about the secondary effect on Lucian's W ("If Lucian damages a marked target with his basic attacks or abilities, he gains 40 movement speed for 2 seconds"), a spell shield will not stop him from gaining MS by autoing you. If you have the debuff and he deals damage to you, he gains the MS.

If you spell shield the initial hit from his W you won't get marked. Once you're marked you would need something like Cleanse or QSS to remove the debuff.
