[GAMEPLAY] Varus vs. Sivir / Spell shield issue

Hey all,

Just played a game as Sivir vs Varus. Been playing Sivir for years and this is the first time I've ever seen this: Varus' skillshot Q pops the spell shield but STILL does damage. Maybe they changed something in a patch recently but this is the first time I've ever seen that happen and it's unbelievably frustrating picking Sivir into Varus to prevent just this kind of thing from happening lol. Anyone have any ideas?

I can't verify this atm, but are you positive it wasn't Q proccing his Blighted Quiver stacks that did the damage, while the Q itself was negated?

Even if that was the case, I'm not sure if it's intended to proc the Blight stacks with the triggering ability is negated by a spell shield.
