"The procedure entry point" error

When I try to open client, an error message reading "The procedure entry point ?sendAdditionalFile@MiniDmpSender@@QAEXPB_W@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LeagueClient.exe." Please help, I really don't want to uninstall unless absolutely necessary (this would be the fifth time I've had to reinstall the game this week because of bugs and its really getting on my nerves). I really want to play today so Riot (or anyone) please respond asap.

Run the repair tool, no reason to uninstall to fix something.

Im in the same boat. The client won't even launch so that I can use the repair tool. I really would rather not uninstall again.

Found a semi-fix from some other thread. Go to Riot Games/League of Legends/RADS/projects/league_client/releases/0.0.0.148/deploy. After that, find LeagueClient and open the file. It SHOULD work even though there originally wasn't an entry point on the desktop icon or in Riot Games/League of Legends.

I'm just going to uninstall and reinstall. Riot is so unhelpful.

I am also having this problem now. I am wondering if I will need to reinstall or if this will be patched in a way that fixes the issue. I was able to use the hotfix mentioned above (opening through the other file directory) to open the client, but don't want to have to keep doing that.
