Sivir W not working with Aery and possibly other runes

Sivirs W ability does not proc the Aery rune, at all. It clearly says "attacks and abilities" and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Ricochet is both an attack and ability.

Haven't tried yet but I believe the Scorch rune would be the same as it's worded similarly.
