League Client won't open 2019 november

The problem occured today and I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Just double-clicked LoL client and my mouse had the downloading image for a good 3secs and stopped. I didn't get a league of legends icon or riot games icon. I have reinstalled twice now and used their Hextech repair tool. And still no positive results. Lately League has started to mess around quite a bit and I am starting to feel like dropping this game entirely. As much as I like it, it just keeps letting me down. I hope some one has a solution for this. Been trying to fix it for an hour or two now.

I was trying to fix this problem for like 3 hours.. after reinstalling 3 times I figured out the fix. In C:/Riot Games/League of Legends/

Delete the Riot Client folder The new client is bugged af and it will force the game to use the old client

been having this problem for about same time. on windows 8.1. i made a vm with 8.1 and redownloaded the game and it worked. deleted riot client on my local machine and now the client doesnt even load up, my guess that only works for people that didnt reinstall or repair
