Patching Process is taking FOREVER

The new patcher is consistently slower than anytime in the history of LoL. This isn't really a problem for me, but for the two friends I tried recommending league to, they basically became annoyed with the 60kbps patching speeds and were discouraged from playing the game. Please fix this, It's beginning to become a disincentive to play the game and that's not something we want.
