Getting legendary skin from chest and still need orange essence to activate

Ok, so. I dont know if this isa bug or a understand wrong, but, for what what i remember, from now on, evrytime i would got a legendary or ultimate skin it would be add to my colletion and i woulndt need orange essence to activate it. I just got Project ashe ski, a skin i dont have, but i still need to use orange essence to active it. Wasant supose for to get activated from find in a chest?

It is only for Ultimate or Mythic skins that you get the free unlock.

Big Drops, Free Unlock: Ultimate and mythic skins drop as auto-redeeming permanents (no orange essence required to upgrade them). If you already own the skin, you'll be able to disenchant them for orange essence.
