new client bug

i decided to update the client but everytime i try opening it, it doesnt work so at first i would open it then nothing will come up then ill click on it again then it will show the client at the top left almost taking half of the screen i cant close only to get rid of it that ive tried is to shutdown the computer pls get back quick i am not able to play league at the moment email;[email protected]
