Fix: press Esc then change client into 1280x720 then restart League of Legend agian

This still didn't work for me. This should be addressed swiftly by Riot. Especially since this will directly effect new users who aren't fully committed to the game yet, the new user experience is essential to keeping a game alive and growing.
This is happening to me!!!! I have re-installed the game and alt-f4 out of 15 times after it comes up This is super annoying

Not sure if anyone has already figured this out yet but you have to open Task Manager and then End Task LoL through that. It will auto-restart and then you'll be able to select a champion.
I had this problem also, so annoying I restarted client well over 15 times, tried restarting computer and nothing.
In the end I got upset and spammed my esc key in the client.....and it worked haha. I pressed it around 5 times before it dissapeared and I could continue playing again. Definitely needs to be fixed tho, if I wasn't at work and had nothing to do I would of given up and played something else.
