[CLIENT} Cannot Start Game, And Friends List Doesnt Appear? Windows 10

I have just installed the current patch maybe an hour or two ago and for some reason I cannot start a match nor see my friends list at all. Literally all I did was

  1. Start the launcher
  2. Let the client update to the current patch
  3. and last but not least three. Tried to start a match, also I did buy a champion, then a skin for the champ, then another champ but idk if that would be of any significance. I have logged off and the back onto it multiple times but this still seems to not be fixing the problem. Please help me, I really want to play. Also there is a link to a photo that contains what my client currently looks like. Thank You For Your Time.

So now I'm kind of mad. I've been waiting all day for some acknowledgement of this bug or some announcement of some sorts, but there has been nothing related to this from riot. A lot of people are getting this bug a want to play the game but they cant. I was asleep for 7-8 HOURS and nothing has been said about this, come on man. I WANT TO PLAY! I DO NOT want to wait HOURS to repair my client when I shouldn't have to. This bug is LITERALLY Game Breaking but I guess people who are playing the game now are more important.
