Two Brand Skins Selected at Once Forcing Only the Default Skin to Show

I got Zombie Brand from a friend in a mystery gift on Christmas day. I was super happy until the skin started to not show up even though I had double checked that it was selected before starting the game. It did this twice before I started to take real notice due to the bug where a skin will deselect when entering a game. But this is about a different bug. I start a custom game by myself to look at the skin selector in game and saw that both the default and zombie skins are selected at the same time. A yellow band shows around the skin that is selected and both skins have it. I've tried everything I can think of to deselect one of them but the only thing that works (and only about a 50% success rate) is to totally relog into league. The game displays has having Zombie Brand and the default Brand selected but when I start a game it uses the default skin. I could use some help. It's really annoying.
