[CLIENT] Mac Client Won't Open

After playing several games over the past 48 hours, I was preparing to play today when I tried to open the LoL client and it wouldn't open. Normally it takes a few seconds, with the LoL icon popping up over the screen and then the launch screen opens. Now, however, the league icon pops up over the screen for a seconds, but the app icon does not appear in the dock. This has happened once before, and I solved the issue by following this link: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3400854 That did not work this time, however. I then attempted to download the client again from the website and download the patches again, but when I tried opening the files from the website, I encountered the same error. Any help/advice?
