Today i've played a game with the champion Aatrox. Everything was OK at the early game but at mid-game everything went wrong. I saw that my spells (Dark Flight and Blades of Torment) are not receiving the 60% bonus from my Attack Damadge. I had around 200 AD but the bonus on the spells was only 53 and it wasn't escalating with my AD. (both spells had only 53 AD bonus + the base spell damadge). I was lvl 15 (Dark Flight was lvl 3 and Blades of Torment - 5) with 15 AD from my runes + the following build: item 3153 item 3111 item 3172 item 1055 item 3082 item 1011 Our team had zero Dragon buffs.

That could be because the spells go off of BONUS AD and not total.

Those spells scale off of Aatrox's BONUS AD, not his total AD. This means that your base AD doesn't count towards the extra damage, only the AD you get from other sources (runes, masteries, items, etc.).
