[CLIENT] *repost* Game does not launch after logging in

I first posted this 30 days ago and two updates have happened and this problem hasn't been fixed. Other mac users are also experiencing this issue and honestly, it's basically because there aren't as many of us in their market for them to bother doing anything in a timely manner. A whole bunch of games have just ghosted mac players because there aren't as many of us, and you other players better watch out before they decide you aren't important enough to do anything about your problems.

Anyway here's the problem: I log in to the initial start up client (which launches fine), and then the League of Legends icon comes up in the middle of the screen and nothing else happens. It stops me from launching the log in client again. Logging out and logging in or restarting my computer, even re-installing the game doesn't fix this. This problem only happened when the latest update happened.
