[GAMEPLAY] Smart pings not working
When I try to smart ping, The "arrow" that points to the specific kind of ping is stuck in the "assist me" one. It is game breaking because I don't always have time to type in the chat. Please help!

I have experienced this issue as well. Maybe providing more context to your scenario should help.
In my case, I am using a 2014 MacBook Air, (all internals are to date) and it was either immediately after the harrowing update or after installing Yosemite, my smart pings had experienced the same issue as what the original poster is explaining.
Immediately when I hit any of the smart ping hotkeys, (Alert ping, quick alert, or any of the four individual ping notifiers), the arrow that allows selection of the four options immediately shoots down from the center of the wheel.
Now, I am able to use the side pings, missing and danger, but I have to nearly break my wrist with every action, having to be quicker than the bug that I am experiencing.
I am also using a naga mouse but with or without my mouse, i.e. using trackpad or another mouse, I am still experiencing the same issues.
