Xerath Ulti Bug

If I use Xerath ult (with the new skin), every time I shoot my first ult, I shoot it on myself. So I only have 2 ultis for effective gaming.

Its a known bug for this whole patch, not just the new Xerath skin. Not long after Patch 5.7 hit, people kept noticing this bug with Xerath. Riot said they acknowledge the bug and are gonna try to release a fix for it in the next patch (which is coming out in a day or two). However, an apparent work around is to pause for about half a second after you activate your ult and THEN fire your first shot.

Hmm i believe this is happened to me before in a ranked game in a diamond match. It just so happened that the rammus taunted the vayne in late game and i ulted for an easy pick. I'm positive i sent out three shots, but only 2 came out? Costing me the vayne catch of her flashing away after that and losing the game. It was late game so that would've been extremely big for us.

So i confirm this is some sort of problem that needs to be fixed, it happened many times in the same game too.

this has been happening on all xerath skins for a long time now. needs to be fixed seriously.

happen to me without the new skin i think it happen when you ult and fire your 1st shot too fast, Xerath item 3070

yeah it's pretty f'n game breaking for Xerath considering how telegraphed his ulti is.

"ooooH! i'm at 20% hp and a big circle just appeared! better start dancing!"

being able to instantly ult can really catch people off guard :/ can't wait for the fix

The bug got patched in the 5.8 patch.

Haven't played Xerath for months until I got the new skin, and I got this bug too. Waiting a second after activating your ult does seem to work, but naturally you'd want to blast them right away, which seems to be how I automatically did it... waiting a second is harder than it sounds. Fighting my own habits now, along with the enemy. Can't wait for a fix.

Am loving the new skin, though.
