Team builder crashing

This has been going on for a few weeks off and on and ONLY in team builder. Mostly anyone that joins after me I cannot see their icon on the "mini map", and several times the "play" button doesn't show up at all. Last night I had two friends in there with me and the team builder actually crashed the LoL client and the client was grayed out and would not close, even "closing" it with task manager would not close it. I actually had to restart my desktop. Once again, I only have issues in team builder.
