Transfer gone wrong, didn´t transfer champs/skins

It might be too late for this, but about 3-4 years ago i transferred my account from LAN to NA but nothing transferred other than my gametag, did i do something wrong? could i get my champs and skins back? i didn´t try to get everything back because a friend told me that´s what happens when you transfer.
