Yasuo R and Reworked Nunu W

When an ally nunu casts his w (Bigest snowball EVER!!!) and hits an enemy champion, yasuo can only sometimes ult the airborne enemy. Is this a bug or is this an interaction?

What do you mean Yasuo can only sometimes ult on to Nunu W he should always be able to ult onto airborne targets?
