Yasuo R and Reworked Nunu W

When an ally nunu casts his w (Bigest snowball EVER!!!) and hits an enemy champion, yasuo can only sometimes ult the airborne enemy. Is this a bug or is this an interaction?

What do you mean Yasuo can only sometimes ult on to Nunu W he should always be able to ult onto airborne targets?

You know how when a target is airborne yasuos ult turns blue? Well only sometimes it turns blue after nunu hitting them even when the dotted line is showing. I think its because when nunu his with his W it not only knocks up but also stuns and i think that the stun overwrites the knockup because the game doesn’t apply both the effects at once but that’s just a guess.

I don't know if that is the case because Sion's Q does the same thing. It may have something to do with the size of the snowball (I.E. if the snowballs small enough you may only have a quarter of a second to ult or something) (I know that the smallest snowball ~~ever~~ knocks people up for less than, or about, a quarter of a second)
