apha strike is the new qss vs teemo

hi ok so last game I was teemo vs a yi, I would blind him it would land, and effect before he initiated his q alpha strike, it negated all effects of the blind and could auto me immediately after ward, this happened constantly through out the game. This really stood out to me as teemo is the known solution for the yi cancer. I thought maybe the duration of yis q maybe outlasting the duration of blind but no .4 seconds q duration vs 1.5- 2 sec duration of blind so it itsnt that. please fix, yi is broken enough and for whatever reason after 5 yrs of broken yi you still have not reworked as if he isn't one of the highest priorities for rework. sad really, but this is lol isn't it.
