Really wanted to give LoL another shot

Between the frustration of getting password reset on an old account and the time required for downloading a new client on the fastest connection available in the US I don't think I'll make it to the character select screen.

Password/username reset emails weren't sent until I found the right account reset page. Easy to find once you know where it is, but until I found the correct page and filled out a bunch of fields I didn't receive any emails with account reset info. Not a big deal, but could be frustrating to other returing players.

More irritating is the fact that the client shows about 500KB/s download speed, so about 5 hours left, but task manager says it's downloading at somewhere between 5 and 15 Mb/s. (600-2000KB/s) That's a bummer, since I have Google Fiber with 1Gb/s download speed, but the extra frustration came when I found out that closing the client completely resets the download. So, I'm back up to 4 hours to go with 9% downloaded. Again, not a big deal, but was hoping to retry a game that I enjoyed in the past instead of spending a couple of hours trying to get the game to work again. Instead, I'm killing time providing feedback on the bug page and heading off to bed.

I'm guessing I'll give it a shot again at some point, but from a product sales/marketing perspective, the fact that I'm not hooked back in as fast as possible means Riot Games has a good chance of losing a potential customer.
