Multiple Instances Freezing Up Computer

I play on a Macbook Pro, and ever since the last patch I've been having this issue with the client. Ever new game I start opens a new game client and it does not close out after the game. And when I quit the launcher client, it stays as well. I am not able to force quit the programs, and because they are there I am not even able to shut down my computer. I have to force shut down in order to get it to go away. I've tried reinstalling the game and that did not work.

Please help.
