Can't play League or sign out on login screen

I accidenlty launched the PBE client while I had Legends of Runeterra, which resulted in the client saying "League of Legends PBE is not available for your current account. Please close any games you have running and switch account to play this game" which is what I would do, however there's one small problem. I an unable to click any button that would allow me to sign out, or switch accounts on the login screen. And I can only open the PBE client, the main client will not open, but even if it did I'm sure it would have the same results as the PBE

What I did was restart my PC and shut it down and I think it might have fixed it

Still having the issue as well. Clicking the cog wheel to log out through there doesn't let us switch either, nothing happens.

To get around it, sign out of your normal league client, go back to the click and select PBE in the drop down menu, and it'll let you log into your pbe account. Helpful if you have an old, unlinked account.

I had the same problem except league is the only riot game i have installed. Turned out league still had a background process running. It worked after i ended that. (Task manager with windows and activity monitor for mac)
