Mac Issues post 6.17

Hi. Ever since i patched 6.17, the game crashes when i'm done with champion select and the game starts to load. yes, my mac ain't that good, but this is something new with the patch. Even though i've never intended to go afk, i now got an afk penalty and lost lots of LP.

Does any one else recognize these problems?
