Autofill Protection & getting autofilled right before promos

So I get autofilled right before promos, and I win. I get into my promos, have my protected games and now I'm unprotected. I don't think this is how this should work, since promos are always guaranteed no autofill.

Since when? Never heard of that and I'm pretty sure I get autofilled in my promos every now and then.
