Firecracker Ward makes no sounds when I place it.

I watched the youtube skinspotlight on the firecracker ward skin and have seen other people use it, and the sound reminds me of legend of zelda; wind waker, which is why I wanted it, when I placed it (tried more then once) it made no sound. I feel like I have been stolen of my money, and I deeply regret gettnig this item since it offers no sound to the owner.

Is there any reason why it is making no sound? maybe an option of some sort that turns it off/on, or is it only avalable for other people to hear (which seems stupid since I can hear the defualt ward).

Please riot, tell me what is going on....
