Fioras ult doesnt go on the targeted champ but still goes on cooldown

Hey im sorry that i cant capture this in any way but i have had it happen multiple times that i cast fioras ult on somebody and it just does not di anything but still goes on cooldown as if it worked

maybe others have seen this aswell?
