LAGGGGGGGG in champ select

Does anyone else having the same issue as I do? Ever since the update from the last patch, I am having a serious trouble to select/ban champion in champion select. Most of the times, my screen just froze during champion select, and If someone knows how to tackle this issue pls just let me know.
