[CRASH] League crashes occasionally when I tab out

Basically what the title says, occasionally when I tab out in a game I get a "A critical error has occurred and the process must be terminated..." error. The added issue onto this is that, when this happens, I get stuck on a black screen, and cannot actually tab out of this screen or exit out of the game, so I need to restart my entire computer to get back into the game. I do not know how to reproduce this, and it does not happen every time I tab out. Can anyone help me?
