Does this mean I have one less game left in my 5 game queue?

I queue up for an intro bots game so I can quickly run out my queue so I can play with my friends without them getting impatient for having to wait a 20 minute queue and right as I am about to be taken into the game, I am taken back into the lobby with the words on my screen "unable to start game". After waiting a whole 20 minutes I end up completely wasting my time so now I begin thinking, does this mean I have one less game with a queue? If not, this is unbelievable, honestly, I think I deserve one less game because I did wait the WHOLE entire queue.
