Unable to interact with Game Client

My friend, DocWeasel, and I were trying to play a couple of games of ARAM. We got through the character selection screen and began loading the game client. However, as soon as I loaded in I was unable to interact with anything or move the camera around. The first time I tried closing the program and reopening it, but it popped with a game abandonment notification. I got sited for game abandonment because I couldn't interact with the client. The second game I have the exact same issue, however it was a little longer so I was able to open task manager and force close the client, then try to reconnect from the launching client. I had read that this fixed a similar issue, but that instance they were able to move the camera around. I was not so fortunate. I tried closing and re-opening the game client for the entire game. My team ended up surrendering as soon as they were able to. I tried to play a practice game shortly after and had the same issue.

Unfortunately I am not able to provide a step by step on how to reproduce the error, as I am not entirely sure what is causing it or how to resolve it.
