Charged Double for Maokai

Hello,

I purchased maokai when I had more than 10k IP and when I clicked purchase I might have been charged double because my current IP is not 963. Is this a bug that is happening often or am I just that unlucky that I'm in a losing streak AND league hates me? How do I go about getting my IP back? I worked to hard to have had it all wasted on Maokai.

Please send help pronto, I might resent this champ for the rest of my life if this goes unsolved. I really want to be a tree hugger
