LoL wont open at all after latest patch (windows 7)

so after the patch the other day i had work so i never got to play, but today i go to get on and when i hit the shortcut on my desktop it brings up the logo and then disappears. it will not open. i decided to try to open the .exe files directly from the folder, didn't work. tried disabling all antivirus, still wont open. restarted for the hell of it, still nothing. decided to re download the game, still same issue.

PLEASE HELP ME!

well i got really bored and just re downloaded and uninstalled it over and over and after 4 or so downloads it actually opened up and is patching. fingers crossed it works now.
