I don't have any video evidence of this but I placed a regular ward in bot lane tri-bush and for a fraction of a second I could see the enemy ward. I have only seen this once but the friend I was playing with said he has seen this happen before too.

it happens cause vision wards take 1.5 seconds to go invisible
try creating a custom game with your friend and you being on oposite teams placing a ward the same time as you in a bush
