Riot fix your retarded game

So i hop on to play a game today nothing different happened, logged on, found a game, etc. But right when the client closed for the game i didn't connect, odd it LITERALLY has never happened until now... so i hit reconnect but it doesn't work, weird hit it again and still doesn't work at this point I am tilted because i know I'm gonna be placed on lower queue for NO FUCKING REASON, so i wait until it ends and try again, again nothing weird happens found a game and blah blah blah same thing i did, and wouldn't you know the client closes and i didn't reconnect, still stuck at the reconnect screen which btw if i haven't told already ummm. DOESN'T FUCKING WORK now again i wait until it's done and look at that I'm getting placed on lower queue because the game doesn't work? lovely... I don't know how but this has got to go to the workers of riot because this is unacceptable and i need to be removed from lower queue or at least get something back because this is actually stupid as fuck ( sorry for my language i just don't know why this happened to me )

I didn't have quite the same problem as this, but this might work for your problem too.

Your config files might have gone a little screwy somehow, and each time you login the client grabs the screwy files again which overwrites any changes you made. Follow these steps to do a hard manual reset on those files, and let me know if they still won't work correctly.

  • Log into the game client
  • Navigate to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config
  • Delete the file named game.cfg and persistedsettings.json
  • Go into a practice game and verify that settings have saved properly.
  • Leave game to sync settings

Note that this will completely reset all of your custom settings like keybindings, chat filter, graphics, etc. Fix them when you are in the practice mode.
