Random Freeze Glitch??

So in my last game my champion froze out of nowhere at 3 least times, each of which lasted a minimum of 5 seconds, wherein I could do LITERALLY NOTHING. Even better for me of course, it happened to be in lane trading with my counter-part each time except the last, which got me killed in a wonderous flurry of button mashing, panic, and frustration of not understanding. Sure, I'd understand it it were lag maybe, but my ping had changed in absolutely no way with each incident, leaving me in a angry confusion. I'd like some feedback regarding my extremely unpleasant experience.
