Lee Sin's kick (bug?)

Hey, I'm not too sure if this is a bug, but I just played a game as Lee Sin where I kicked an enemy champion into another group of enemies, hoping it would knock them all up, but instead, the champion I kicked merely passed through them ( same as what happened with FNC Spirit in his game of Lee sin against Roccat). A few things to think about:

What is Lee's Ult hit box, most specifically the width of it?
What Ping do you play at?

It could be a ping issue that makes you look like it is hitting, but not.

Or it could just be tough luck and the hit box is actually missing.
