Miss Fortune Double Up

Not sure if its supposed to or not, I looked at past patch history to see anything about it but I couldn't, but Miss Fortunes double up, her Q, ends when it either kills a minion/monster/champ, or when they die before the bullet makes it to them, meaning it doesn't make its bounce. I understand if its supposed to end if they die before the bullet hits them, but it also ends when the minion dies from the hit, before it can make its bounce.
