[Client] League Client opens up new instances of itself

Whenever I queue for any game mode, when the accept button pops up it will bring up another league client before I can click or do anything. I have to find the other league client that is the correct one and click accept before the timer runs out. If I try to close the newly opened one, it will close all of them. This can be a problem when I accept the queue and someone afks or drops and I have to reaccept it. At one point I had 5 league clients open simultaneously, and that was a nightmare to just navigate champ select.

so I have an update about this issue. I totally forgot I had lolreplay2 installed and the issue was actually caused by that. I updated it and relaunched it and league and the issue disappeared.

after uninstalling and reinstalling. can confirm this is still happening.

Are you attempting to open the client more than once? Perhaps there are multiple League applications in the background. Check your task manager to find out.

all I am doing is clicking accept and it opens up 1 or 2 more instances of league. it happens multiple times and can be easily reproduced. If I did open a new instance of league myself it would take me to the login page for it, not straight to the champ select.

#Beta Client

Click the cog to the top right corner of the client then click "Initiate Full Repair".

#Legacy Client

Repair the game by clicking the question mark icon to the top right of the patcher. Select "Repair" and let the patcher scan and repair corrupt game files. When the process is completed, you'll see the orange "Launch" button.

probably should have mentioned earlier I did that before I reinstalled it. However when that process finished League didnt work at all afterward. I had to completely uninstall and remove all traces of League from my computer before it would reinstall and update properly.
